I'm sorry - I know I'm going to be flamed for this:

But those terrible "stroke" adverts.

I know it's a serious issue, but watching the interminable gurning just makes me want to let them get on with it.

(I've worked in healthcare - so I'm not really unsympathetic)

Thanks for providing this forum. Your website is providing the information needed to guage the performance of cerco. If I had read this blog I wouldn't have done anything with cerco. it is unfortunate that the likes of ashley and craig accepted the job to sell lies for steve emden. History will not judge them well. They have given their heart and soul to telling lies and deceiving people to make their living. what a shameful way of making a living. I would like to use this forum to inform frustrated cerco graduates(as described by Ashley) to contact me on my email address johnwells160@yahoo.co.uk to device means to getting our money back. CERCO is a fraud and should not be allowed to exist in UK. They can change the name to anything, is still part of the fraud I am talking about.
CERCO IS A FRAUD.

Well I would imagine that this post has proved a bit of a pain in the ass, as Google seems to like it...

That said, I always felt that Mr Emden has shown a decent commitment to his company reputation by commenting on this blog.

I attended the Cerco course in September/October 2009. I had been out of the industry for 5 years (Iwas formerly employed as an Field Hardware Engineer for 14 years) The course delivered nothing particularly new to me, it served more as a refresher. I was convinced to do the course on the understanding that Cerco could and would find regular work for me. It's now nearly march 2010 and I have yet to hear a single word from them despite a number of emails sent. I had previously attended one of the first Cerco courses back in 1990. This resulted in immediate employment at the end of the course. So naturally I expected the same kind of results. I am now expected to part with £3,500 as the course fees have been deferred for 12 months. As the cost of the course is now being dealt with by Barclays, I dont hold much hope of getting my money back for something which I feel I haven't recieved. As for the 37K claim, as a Field Engineer of 14 years My salary as at 2004 was £18,500! Go figure as they say!

Cosmetics adverts generally have been utterly appalling for as long as I can remember. I hated them as a child and I hate them now. More than any other type of advertising, they cash in gender stereotypes to a hilarious degree, and patronise the hell out of viewers in the process.

Good examples are Gillette (THE BEST A MAN CAN GET! being quickly outdone by the laughable fusion-collider...THING), L'oréal...oh christ, L'oréal. I've never heard such smug, self-satisfied tones as in that cloying American actresses' rendition of the tagline:
"Because you're *worth* it!"

I always internally reply, "true, I am, but you're not."

Thinking of using Cerco to do my resttlement, it's a scary thought on it's own nevermind the whole prospect of them not delivering on their statements. I am willing to listen and I'm logical enough to know that I won't be paid the same salary as I'm earning now ad it taken me 8 years to get to 30k. But I'm not afraid to start at the bottom and with hard work and my never say die naval attitude I'm sure I'll run circles around my civilian counterparts! Bring it on MR Emden I would love the challenge.

Yours aye

Well this was a few years ago, but the plugs were definitely wrecked by the steam cleaning. The covers were fine, and when I changed the plugs it was fine.

The PDR was a waste of time. The guy wouldn't touch it. I had the whole car resprayed in the end. It looked beautiful when it was done, but it wasn't cheap.
