The saga continues...

Now the German Government is advising people to stop using Internet Explorer due to its security flaws. Microsoft on the other hand say this is nonsense and that you can close the flaw by changing your security settings to "high", although this of course will severely limit your browsing experience and will probably prevent you from logging into websites or shopping online. That's progress then. Thanks Microsoft - once again you take the stance of insisting that nothing is wrong with your product when clear public evidence proves the opposite.

And just to prove my point, Internet Explorer vulnerabilities were exploited to facilitate the recent attack on Google China. What a useless piece of crap browser!

The solution is on this page: http://www.davidhurst.co.uk/2009/07/07/facebook-notifications-not-working/

You can't fix your friend's notifications, they'll have to apply the fix themselves.

Regards,

David

Mr. Hurst
I have an issue with my facebook page and I was told you were the "go to guy" for many resolutions regarding such issues. I am sorry I have to post my issue on this feed. Here is my issue. Some of my friends are not receiving my status updates. I can see their status updates just fine. In addition, if I write something on their wall, or comment on their status, I will not receive any notifications but when I speak with them they say they did comment. I cannot see the comment or did I get notification. What is the problem and how did I fix it.? Please email
